How to care for your air plant

#FlowerCrushFriday - How to care for your air plant

Tillandsia, otherwise more commonly known as air plants, requires air, water and sunlight to survive. (Yes, they don't just survive on air!!!)

Here are some tips on how to care for your air plant:

1. Water them once a week! Water them till they are dripping wet and shake off any excess water (:

2. When your air plant doesn't have enough water, it will curl up and turn brown like this one of ours (yes, we sometimes accidentally kill our plants too hahaha!) When it is overwatered, it will be soggy and turn brown as well.

3. Place your air plant near the window, where it is well-ventilated. Make sure to keep them out of the afternoon sun. Indirect sunlight is the best (:

Hope these tips will help you to care better for your air plant! (:
