About the Experience

At Hello Flowers!, we’ve seen how something as simple as working with flowers can open up space for connection, expression and moments of joy.

Our community floral workshops are designed for different groups — from seniors and caregivers to children, youth and individuals with additional needs. Each session is adapted to meet people where they are, with no pressure to create something perfect or participate in a particular way.

Working with flowers is naturally sensory. We touch, smell, look, choose and create. Research has found that flowers can evoke positive emotional responses and encourage social interaction, while research into therapeutic horticulture points to potential benefits for wellbeing and quality of life.

For us, it is less about the finished arrangement and more about what happens along the way.

Our approach is informed by therapeutic horticulture — using nature-based activities to create opportunities for wellbeing, participation and connection.

Flowers are our medium. Connection, creativity and care are what we hope to cultivate.

Our School Programs

Our school-based sessions use the same therapeutic horticulture approach to support students’ social-emotional learning and holistic well-being.

Through hands-on floral and planting activities, students learn mindfulness, teamwork, and empathy — discovering how caring for plants can also mean caring for themselves and their peers.

Each session blends creativity, reflection, and play, encouraging curiosity and emotional growth in a supportive environment.

Perfect for preschools, primary and secondary schools, or youth groups seeking meaningful, nature-based experiences.

🌿 When children slow down to notice nature, they learn presence, patience, and kindness.

We also provide vocational experiences and sharing. Do contact for more information.
